What we collect when you enquire, why we collect it, and who else touches it.
Last updated 17 September 2026.
Who we are
ZOEI is a private photoshoot and content location in Palm Beach, Gold Coast, Queensland. You can reach us at hello@zoei.au.
What we collect
What you type into the enquiry form: your name and email address, and optionally your phone number, brand or business name, Instagram or website, preferred and alternative shoot dates, approximate booking length, the space you are interested in, and any comments or questions you add.
When you send an enquiry, it also includes how you found us: the website that linked you here (the site only, not the page), any campaign tags on the link you followed, whether you arrived by clicking an ad and on which platform, the page on this site you first landed on, and the date. Your browser remembers this for up to 90 days, so an enquiry made on a later visit still says how you found us. It is sent only with an enquiry you choose to make, and we use it to learn which of our advertising and listings bring people to us.
We also use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see how many people visit, which pages they read, and roughly where they came from. It sets cookies in your browser and records pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, and the type of device and browser you are using. It is never sent your name, email address or what you write. When you send an enquiry it records that one was made, and may record the space and booking length you chose and how many days away your preferred date is.
We use Microsoft Clarity, also loaded through Google Tag Manager, to see how people use the site: where they click, how far they scroll, and where a page is confusing. It sets cookies and records your interactions with each page, which can be played back as a session recording, along with your device, browser and approximate location. We do not link recordings to your name or your enquiry.
We use the Pinterest tag to measure our Pinterest advertising. It sets cookies and tells Pinterest which pages of this site you visit and, when you send an enquiry, that an enquiry was made. It never sends Pinterest your name, email address or anything you typed. Pinterest may link this to your Pinterest account if you have one and use it to measure and improve the ads it shows you; its own privacy policy covers that.
You can opt out of Google Analytics with Google’s browser add-on, turn off ad personalisation in your Pinterest settings, or block cookies for this site in your browser settings, which stops all three. Nothing on the site stops working if you do.
Why we collect it
To answer your enquiry: to check whether the location suits your production, confirm availability for your date, and recommend the right hire option. We do not use it for marketing unless you separately ask us to.
Who else handles it
Three services are involved in getting an enquiry to us, and each sees only what it needs to:
- Cloudflare hosts this website and processes standard server request logs, which include IP addresses.
- Resend delivers the enquiry to our inbox as an email.
- Stop Forum Spam receives your email address and IP address so we can check them against a public database of addresses caught spamming forms. It returns a flag only. It never blocks an enquiry. At most it adds a note to the email so we can tell genuine enquiries from automated ones.
Separately, Google, Microsoft and Pinterest receive the analytics and advertising data described above. That is about how the site is used, not about your enquiry: none of them is sent your name, email address, your message or how you found us.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with anyone beyond the services above.
How long we keep it
Enquiry emails are kept in our inbox for as long as they remain commercially useful, typically while we are corresponding with you and for a reasonable period afterwards. Ask us to delete yours and we will.
Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Principles you can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@zoei.au and we will action it.
Links to other sites
This site links to Instagram, and our Pinterest ads link here. Once you are on either platform, its privacy policy applies, not ours.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
